Are these clubs any good?
I recently dug some old clubs out of the attic that were my uncle’s. They’re in usable condition, but I’m not sure if there good clubs or not. The irons are Wilson Arnold Palmer Autograph ones. The 8 iron is a Bryon Nelson swing weight that says Northwestern Contour Sole and “Pro Only”. There are also 4 wooden woods: a Spalding Model 5, MacGregor 2 Classic, a MacGregor 3, and a Spalding 2. If you need any more information about them to make an assessment just ask. I’d say they’re all at least 10 years old.
I’m going to take them out next weekend I think depending on weather, so we’ll see.
Your best bet is to try them out. You might want to replace the wooden woods, but if you can hit them well then they’ll be fine. Go to the range and see how they work out.
